I am always looking for a fun activity to do with my toddler and this is a cute one! Cool off this summer with these beautiful popsicles.
You will need:
Any edible flowers (we bought from HEB but you can buy these from Amazon) *
Lemonade (bonus: you can add sparkling water to see the flowers more clearly)
Silicone popsicle molds (we used these from Amazon)
Steps:
1. Fill the popsicle molds with lemonade.
2. If edible flowers are not pre-washed, carefully rinse the flowers before adding them to each mold.
3. Place in the freezer until set for about two hours.
4. After 2 hours, remove from the freezer and let them sit on the counter for about 5 minutes so it is easier to remove from the silicone mold. And enjoy!
Get your toddler involved by bringing them to the store to pick out the flowers, sorting out flowers by color, drinking lemonade during the process, counting how many flowers go into each mold, and then eating them when they're ready! I find when my toddler son helps me with the entire process, he gets really excited about his involvement.
