Healthy Yogurt Popsicles
Making these with your little one is a simple and fun learning activity (bring your patience, though!) I’ve found that when I include my toddler son in the process of making a snack or meal (whenever possible), he’s more likely to enjoy it, since he was part of the process! I got this recipe from our friend Tina Bell Stamos. Mini Yogurt Pops -Makes 6 -Equipment: small popsicle molds (you can buy on amazon here). Ingredients -1 cup Strawberry or Blueberry Kefir -½ cup strawberries, blueberries or mix of both -1 cup Vanilla or plain yogurt -Note: Alternative milk yogurts can also be used, we love Culina in our house. Process -Puree Kefir with berries in a small blender (I use my ninja blender attachment for smoothies). -Divide equal portions of mixed Kefir between each to the popsicle mold. -Do the same with plain yogurt. -Top with popsicle sticks and freeze until solid. About 3 hours. - Dip popsicle molds into warm water for 30 seconds to release pops easily. -Enjoy!Here's a tasty little treat for you and your family! I am constantly looking for healthy snack inspiration and ideas for my two year old son Hudson. Here in Texas, it's still 100 degrees out, so these healthy homemade frozen pops are a big hit in our house!
